Utkarsh Welfare Foundation supports in upgrading the infrastructure of primary schools in Arajilines Block, Varanasi
Utkarsh Welfare Foundation (UWF) set up Smart Classes and School Nutrition Gardens in the five (05) primary schools of Bhimchandi, Dholapur, Dindasdpur, Karnadadi and Mahmadpur in Arajilines Block of Varanasi, as a part of its Village Development Program. The event was attended by the senior management from Utkarsh Small Finance Bank, Utkarsh Welfare Foundation and Basic Education Department, Uttar Pradesh.
The Chief Guest of this event was Shri Awadh Kishor Singh, Assistant Director of Education (Basic), Varanasi.
Speaking on the event Shri Awadh Kishor Singh, Assistant Director of Education (Basic), Varanasi said, βIt is heartening to know that organizations such as Utkarsh Welfare Foundation are extending their assistance towards upgradation of the primary school infrastructure for a bright future of the children and the benefit of the society. Such development in school infrastructure goes a long way in the support to facilitate access to digital learning environment and enhance community access to digital ways of learning and interaction for children. Utkarsh Welfare Foundation has been in the forefront in providing, education, health and vocational training program, empowering grass root population. As an important measure towards balancing the adverse effects of COVID-19 on education, the Foundation has undertaken significant initiatives under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to provide rural children with an access to technology-enabled education for experiential learning and therefore has supported these five (05) primary schools in the block.
