In November 2023, two Smart Classes have been setup in Haridwar and Dehradun, Uttarakhand, specifically aimed at meeting the educational needs of students in government colleges. The initial implementation occurred at Government Girl Inter College Jwalapur, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, with a total 1,547 students. Subsequently, the second Smart Class was established at Government Girls Inter College, Lakhibagh, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, which accommodates a total of 602 enrolled students.
