Utkarsh Welfare Foundation (UWF) under the aegis of HDFC Life CSR, Organizes Multi-Speciality Mega Health Camps
Utkarsh Welfare Foundation (UWF) organized multi-speciality health camps in collaboration with HDFC Life CSR as part of its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities. The health camps were aimed at providing free medical consultations and basic health check-ups to the underprivileged sections of the society.
The multi-specialty health camps were held at different locations of Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. These health camps offered a range of medical services, including consultations with general physicians, ophthalmologists, gynaecologists, ENT specialists, etc. Additionally, basic health checkups such as blood pressure, blood sugar and body mass index was also provided free of charge.
The Objective of the health camp was to provide basic healthcare services to community who do not have access to healthcare facilities due to financial constraints. The health camp was also an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of regular health checkups and early diagnosis. The health camp was open to everyone and there was no registration fee.
Addressing at the event, Ms. Sushma Sharma, Chief Operating Officer (COO) said, "We are delighted to organize these health camps as part of our CSR initiatives. It is our way of giving back to the society and helping those who are in need of basic healthcare services. UWF will keep organizing such camps on a regular basis and it will be a small step to contribute to the society."
