Twenty farmers have received support in the form of vermi beds for vermicomposting. These beds serve as dedicated spaces for the cultivation of composting worms, crucial for the vermicomposting process. These farmers are actively involved in vermicomposting, wherein they purchase the necessary worms to populate these beds from their own resources. 

By providing these vermi beds, these farmers are empowered to engage in sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural practices. They invest in the worms required for this process, thereby fostering a self-sufficient and environmentally conscious approach to vermicomposting. This initiative not only aids in waste management by converting organic waste into valuable compost but also supports these farmers in enhancing the fertility of their soil for improved crop yields.
