Skelinda Warjri, a 47-year old women from Mairang village in the Eastern West Khasi Hills district in Meghalaya frequently suffered from seasonal allergies. This caused her frequent coughs, colds and minor headaches. She relied on over the counter medications to ease her condition but it provided only short-term relief. When someone told Skelinda about the E-clinic set up by Utkarsh Welfare Foundation, where she could avail free of cost consultations from a qualified M.B.B.S doctor. She decided to visit the E-clinic, where the doctor reviewed her reports, identified the root cause and prescribed medication.
Skelinda says, “The prescribed medicines significantly reduced my discomforts and allergies. While I still experience some minor issues, I am confident that following the doctor’s advice will help me overcome these problems.”
