My name is Babita Devi and I am a small farmer from Ajeetpur village in Haridwar (Uttarakhand). Farming is how my family survives, but making ends meet was tough. Things changed when Utkarsh Welfare Foundation introduced me to Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK). They trained me in Machan farming, a method that improves water use and plant health. I applied it to grow vegetables and spices and the results were amazing. I saved upto 7,000 through better yields and lower input costs.

Encouraged, I saved seeds from my own produced and expanded cultivation. Our income grew and farming became more sustainable. Utkarsh Welfare Foundation’s guidance made this transformation possible. Their support turned my small farm into a source of pride and progress.
